Trim a Karaoke Video

Learn how to quickly and easily trim your karaoke videos using Youka.

Step-by-Step Guide #

1. Open your karaoke project in Youka
2. Navigate to Edit > Trim Video
3. Use the timeline to set your trim points:
   • Drag the left handle to set the start point
   • Drag the right handle to set the end point
4. Preview your selection using the Play button
5. Click Apply Trim to confirm

Fine-Tuning Your Trim #

For precise trimming:

1. Use the zoom controls to see the waveform in detail
2. Enter exact timestamps in the Start and End fields
3. Use keyboard shortcuts:
   • I - Set start point at current position
   • O - Set end point at current position

Exporting Trimmed Video #

After trimming:

1. Click Export > Download Video
2. Choose your quality settings
3. Your trimmed video will be exported

Tips #

• Preview before applying to ensure accuracy
• Keep a backup of the original before trimming
• Use trim to remove long intros or outros
