Change the Background Video

Changing the background video allows you to use your own image or video for the visual display.

Steps to Change Background #

1. Open your karaoke project
2. Navigate to Edit > Style Editor
3. Find the Background section
4. Select your background type:
   • Video: Use the original or uploaded video
   • Image: Upload a static image
   • Color: Use a solid color background

Uploading a New Background Video #

1. Click Choose File or drag and drop your video file
2. Select the video file (MP4, WebM, or other supported formats)
3. The new background will be applied to the preview

Important Note: Audio vs. Video #

Changing the background only replaces the visual display. The audio stems (instrumental, vocals) remain from the original karaoke.

If you want to use different audio:

1. Go to Audio > Import Stems
2. Import your new audio files (instrumental, vocals, etc.)
3. Then change the background video separately

Tips for Great Backgrounds #

• Use high-resolution media (1080p or higher recommended)
• Choose backgrounds that don't distract from lyrics
• Consider using abstract or slow-moving videos
• Darker backgrounds make text easier to read

Adjusting Background Settings #

In the Style Editor, you can also adjust:

• Blur: Add blur to make lyrics more readable
• Brightness: Adjust background brightness
• Loop: Whether the background loops or freezes on last frame
