Lyrics Are Out of Sync

If your lyrics aren't matching the music, here are several ways to fix the issue.

Re-sync with AI #

For major sync issues, re-sync your lyrics using AI:

1. Navigate to Edit > Edit Lyrics
2. Make sure your lyrics are correct
3. Select a sync model (e.g., Audioshake Alignment)
4. Click Save to start a new sync job

Manual Corrections #

Using Manual Sync #

1. Open Edit > Manual Sync
2. Click on the misaligned word or line
3. Drag to adjust its position on the timeline
4. Use the audio waveform as a guide

Cut and Move Lines #

If entire lines need to be moved to a different position:

1. Select the lines you want to move
2. Press Ctrl+X (or Cmd+X on Mac) to cut
3. Seek to the new position in the timeline (click or use arrow keys)
4. Press Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac) to paste at the playhead position

Shift Line Timing #

To nudge selected lines earlier or later:

1. Select the lines in Manual Sync
2. Press Shift + ← to shift earlier
3. Press Shift + → to shift later

Prevention Tips #

• Use high-quality audio sources
• Provide accurate lyrics when importing
• Include repeated sections (choruses) in your lyrics
• Try different sync models if one doesn't work well
