Use Style Presets
Save and reuse styling across projects
Presets let you save a style you like and apply it to any project.
What Are Presets?
A preset saves your styling settings:
- Text colors and fonts
- Background settings
- Layout options
- Overlay configurations
Apply a preset to instantly style any project.
Creating a Preset
- Style your project the way you like
- Go to the Presets panel (sidebar)
- Click New Preset
- Enter a name (e.g., "Neon Glow", "Classic White")
- Click Create Preset
Your current settings are saved as the preset.
Applying a Preset
- Open any project
- Go to the Presets panel
- Click on a preset name
- The styling is applied immediately
Note: Applying a preset replaces your current styling settings.
Managing Presets
Rename a Preset
- Hover over the preset
- Click the edit icon
- Type the new name
- Press Enter
Delete a Preset
- Hover over the preset
- Click the delete icon
- Confirm deletion
Setting a Default Preset
Make a preset apply automatically to new versions:
- Hover over the preset
- Click the star icon to set as default
- New versions use this preset's styling
The default preset is marked with a star.
Reset to Defaults
To clear a project's styling and start fresh:
- In the Presets panel, click Reset
- All styling returns to system defaults
What's Saved in a Preset
A preset includes:
- Font family and size
- Active/inactive text colors
- Outline and shadow settings
- Background color/gradient
- Layout type and settings
- Overlay configurations
A preset does NOT include:
- Lyrics or timing
- Audio mix settings
- Trim settings
- Version-specific changes
Tips
- Create presets for different use cases (TV, social media, etc.)
- Use descriptive names
- Start with one good preset and iterate
- Presets work across all your projects
