Change Speed or Pitch

Change the speed (tempo) or pitch (key) of your karaoke to suit different voices or preferences.

Opening Audio Settings #

1. Open your project in the Studio
2. Click the Audio panel
3. Find the Speed and Pitch controls

Changing Speed #

The speed control adjusts how fast the song plays:

• 1.0x — Normal speed
• 0.75x — Slower (easier for beginners)
• 1.25x — Faster

Use cases:

• Slow down for learning lyrics
• Speed up for a faster version
• Match a singer's preference

Changing Pitch #

The pitch control raises or lowers the key:

• 0 — Original key
• +1, +2 — Higher key
• -1, -2 — Lower key

Use cases:

• Raise pitch for higher voices
• Lower pitch for deeper voices
• Match a singer's comfortable range

Preview vs Export #

During Preview:

• Speed changes apply immediately
• Pitch changes apply immediately

After Export:

• Pitch changes are applied to the exported video
• Speed changes affect the exported video
• Preview to confirm before exporting

Reset to Default #

Click the reset button next to Speed or Pitch to return to original values:

• Speed: 1.0x
• Pitch: 0

Tips #

• Small pitch changes (±1-2) sound most natural
• Large pitch changes may affect audio quality
• Speed changes maintain pitch (tempo only)
• Combine speed and pitch for custom arrangements
